Doug shares his story with Sandy about Type 2 diabetes – from symptoms to diagnosis, to now being involved as an advocate and volunteer with the Canadian Diabetes Association. Like many people, he didn’t take it seriously at first, but then got a ‘wake-up call’ which changed everything.

Hi there
I just heard Doug’s interview… it is really a wake up call. I thank you for the information and encouragement. I, too have a type two diabetes
I agree - “one step at a time” is a way to tackle it.
