Kyle Balagno knows that the best chance for a cure for juvenile diabetes is more money for diabetes research.
He can create a fundraising event that generates sponsors and individual pledge fundraising and media attention and donations. He can put his career on hold, as the event becomes his job. He can send a message to juvenile diabetes researchers that parents of diabetic children will be proactive, not reactive. Waiting and hoping is not enough.
Parents like Kyle would do anything, will do anything, to help find a cure for their kids.
