PeopleWithDiabetes.ca is an independent, private sector company established by diabetic patients to unite and serve the diabetes community in Canada.

We are committed to the following organizational objectives in our three core focus areas:

Advocacy

• To encourage and facilitate patient involvement in advocacy initiatives across Canada so they may have a voice on issues that impact their lives
• To provide a platform for opinions on current issues by health care professionals specialized in diabetes

Inspiration

• To provide hope and inspiration for people with diabetes through positive stories and role models
• To encourage patient empowerment and personal responsibility for the management of their diabetes

Connection

• To provide an online peer support platform
• To engage people with diabetes in discussion on relevant life & health topics

While we accept funding from both public and private sector sources, our agenda is independent and patient-driven, focused solely on providing value for Canadians living with diabetes.
